Cuil: new search engine from former Google employees
Ex-Google employees Anna Patterson and Tom Costello today launched Cuil, search engine designed in accordance with their intentions to counter the dominance of their old employer.
The main page shows how we are now accustomed to, with only one field to enter a keyword, a button to send the query and a little more, while choosing the color black seems to emphasize the contrast to the white Google: I do not know if it is my impression, or what is desired.
Anyway, as you can see after the break what really differentiates the two is the search engine results page, that of Cuil does not occur with the traditional vertical list but with a kind of grid, where links are accompanied by a description of a bit 'longer than that to which Usually we usually see.
